Actually there was a deliberate deletion of history.
I am not in favour of feeling too victimised about it, though. Let us hope for the better.
Manas, many thanks for visiting and leaving the comment. I agree that there would be many who would be skeptical of such claims. On the other hand there are many well-informed ‘Westerners’ who appreicate the rich mosaic of Islamic or shall we say the history of Muslims. The whole transmission of knowledge from the Greek civilizations was transferred to Europe by luminaries such as Ibne Rushd that led to renaissance in Europe.
It is the later mess that led to stagnation in Muslim societies that continues unabated. Indeed, we need to put our house in order.

I just read your post called “The Lost Jewel – Rediscovering Hazrat Ali’s Letter”. It was very interesting and informative. Hi is always described a soldier and I have never read about this other side of him. Good post.
But where’s the letter itself? I was hoping to see the English translation of this letter.
